3D Wipe is a strong cleaner that is designed to help you clean the surface before applying a protective layer.
Most polishes, shampoos and instant detailers leave behind some sort of oil that can cause issues when a layer of protection (wax, sealant, coating) is bonding to the surface.
Even dust particles, fingerprints, and other light contamination can cause issues. Removing these oils and contamination will allow a layer of wax or sealant to adhere to the surface better, however, it is absolutely critical to prep the surface for a coating to properly bond.
